The terms and conditions apply to using the Psychology for life-changing web Portal, available at https://psychologychange.com.
The Portal is registered as a Cyprus Company: PC Psychology Change LTD, Company registration number: HE433293.
The Terms and Conditions constitute a binding agreement between the Portal and the User (Customer).
You should read the Terms and Conditions before using the Portal.
When booking a consultation, whether gratis or paid, the user declares that they have read and accepted the terms and conditions.
1. WHAT IS THE PLATFORM, AND FOR WHOM?
Anyone can use the platform www.psychologychange.com over the age of 18 who needs the support of an experienced, qualified Professional. We help our clients to regain their mental balance by providing online psychotherapy consultations to clients worldwide and In-Person consultations at our headquarters in Paphos, Cyprus.
2. HOW DOES IT WORK?
Through the Platform, you can book a consultation with a Specialist:
Free initial consultation
The free initial consultation is to listen to your needs and find the best specialist.
A paid consultation with a specialist of your choice
Booking a consultation is possible in 24 hours at the earliest.
If you book a paid session, this must be pre-paid for via the payment methods available on the Portal: Stripe and PayPal. The prices quoted are gross,
Once the consultation has been paid for, you will receive a confirmation to the email address you provided, with a link to meet with the Specialist on the Google Meets platform.
The portal is not responsible if you provide an incorrect email address or an incorrect telephone number, which will make it impossible to confirm the consultation.
Booking a consultation via the Portal means concluding a distance contract, and the contract is discontinued for the duration of the session.
3. WHAT ARE THE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR HOLDING A SESSION?
- Internet bandwidth of at least 384 kbps
- a tablet, desktop computer, or mobile device capable of connecting to the internet with a camera and having any of the above browsers.
- Active e-mail address
- has an up-to-date operating system and an active antivirus program.
Please bear in mind that it is on your side to meet the technical requirements for the consultation to take place smoothly, and you will also pay the associated costs.
4. WHETHER I CAN CANCEL THE CONSULTATION?
You can cancel your consultation 24 hours beforehand by sending information to the following e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org or a text message/message via WhatsApp to the following number: +35799870875
You then have the right to make a new appointment with your Specialist or
You will only receive a refund if you cancel 24 hours before your consultation.
If you have purchased a package, a session from the package that is canceled too late will be forfeited.
5. FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION- NO-SHOW FEE.
If you have booked a free initial consultation, you confirmed it in reply to the e-mail you received – you can take part in it free of charge.
The free initial consultation does not oblige you to start paid therapy with a specialist.
We respect your time and the time of our Specialists, and that is why, if, despite prior confirmation, you did not appear at the online meeting and did not cancel your consultation 24 hours earlier by sending an e-mail to the following address: email@example.com or a text message/message via WhatsApp to the following number: +35799870875, you will be charged a NO SHOW fee of EUR 39.
Failure to pay the fee is the basis for taking legal action against you by the Platform.
6. DO I HAVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE A COMPLAINT?
You have the right to complain about the services the Platform provides by sending information to the email address: firstname.lastname@example.org. When submitting a complaint, provide as much information as possible, such as your name, the session’s date, and the Specialist’s name.
By booking a Consultation, you enter into contact with the Specialist knowingly and of your own free will. If during the Consultation, you receive a recommendation to seek professional medical help, e.g., psychiatric, you are obliged to consider this recommendation and take it into account in your further proceedings. Neither the Platform nor the Specialist accepts any responsibility for your health or actions before, during or after the Consultation. You are always responsible for all your decisions and actions.
The Portal and its various components constitute works which are protected by the laws of Cyprus and subject to the Intellectual Property Rights Law No. 59/76 as amended.
9. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
10. FINAL PROVISIONS
The Portal reserves the right to terminate the provision of the Services at any time, without giving any reason. In such a case, the Portal will ensure that the funds for the Consultations not completed will be refunded to the Clients in the manner they were paid.
The regulations came into force on 20.02.2023. The regulations are subject to change.
